Born in Bergamo in 1968, after initially playing the drums, he devoted himself to guitar and rock music with the band "MOSAICO," for which he played, sang, and composed his own material. He then joined the Bergamo-born singer-songwriter CARLO "SKIZZO" BIGLIOLI, with whom he toured northern Italy and collaborated on the second album, "I Figli del Rock 'n Roll."

In 1991, he attended the CDPM in Bergamo for a few months, where he studied with Maestro Dario Faiella. He also composed the music for the theatrical show “Mare di Notte – Nightmare” by Bergamo teather company “ERBAMIL”, and collaborated over the years with the Milan band “OTTANTOTTOTASTI” with whom he toured Italy (including the islands!) with appearances at Videomusic and at the European Festival “Arezzo Wave” with related compilation CDs, which then released the album of the same name published by EMI in 1998, “LA FAMIGLIA ROSSI”, with whom he began a long technical-musical collaboration that lasted until 2000, “CHARLIE HILL MUSIK KOMPANY” by DARIO CANOSSI (the current LUF) where he played for several years recording three self-produced albums and playing dozens of concerts between Lombardy and Switzerland, “BANDANUOVA” also by Carlo Biglioli, with whom he recorded and published the CD of the same name and held several concerts in the province and around Italy, and DAVIDE VAN DE SFROOS, joining his summer tour for the album "BREVA E TIVAN" and appeared in the final of PREMIO TENCO in Sanremo, with whom he recorded the mini-album "LA POMA" that same year.

Since 2002, he has collaborated with the Balkan ensemble ZABULON J for several dates, with the folk music group SPAKKABRIANZA, with whom he played for a couple of years, and formed a cover trio with singer SONIA SOLIANI, a fellow teacher at the CRAMS in Monticello Brianza. In 2003, he founded the acoustic cover trio "LaTERNA MAGICA" with Lecco singer IRENE OGGIONI, which lasted until 2007. He began collaborating with the Bergamo-based company "PANDEMONIUM TEATRO" in the context of thematic musical theater performances. He continued his collaboration with Oggioni in the NENE' TRIO in 2010/11 and then as a duo.

In 2006, he joined the Brianza folk band DAMATRA’ until 2020, performing extensively throughout northern Italy and appearing at European festivals. In 2008, the TABAR ENSEMBLE was formed, a manouche-folk jazz group that performed several live in Lombardy and at the Lautenbach Folk Festival (FR). The group also featured jazz singer SABRINA SPARTI in 2012/13. In 2013, he made a partial return to rock music with the cover band “DISTINTO DISTRETTO” for which he plays bass. That same year, with singer Ivan Nava, he founded the project “MR. SOUL BAND,” an acoustic duo but also a full-fledged band dedicated to rock with strong soul/R’n’B influences, for which he also composes original material. In 2016 he founded TRES MANOUCHE with double bass player Andrea Balgera and, in addition to his intense solo activity, he has started various collaborations: with the folk collective TRAS AN BALL directed by Gabriele Coltri, with Marilla Talarico's SUD ENSEMBLE, with Lecco actress ANCILLA OGGIONI, with the Balkan combo DER FOLK OFEN, with the Milan singer CHIARA BOLDREGHINI, with the Lecco flautist RANIERI FUMAGALLI, with the Bergamo saxophonist GUIDO BOMBARDIERI, reaching the milestone of 1,000 career concerts in 2024.***
